Trump betrayed his voters: he appointed Rubio, who is a real cuckoo's egg for the MAGA system, as Secretary of State. It is clear that Rubio does not support the renewal of American politics: he wants to smuggle the old, neoconservative-globalist position back in place of the MAGA ideology. Rubio is a traitorous neocon, a hidden agent, a sixth column man, like Bolton, Kellog, Cheney, Wolfowitz, Nuland and Graham... Trump is stupid: he takes many bad people with him (his first presidency also failed), he is an extremely impressionable, unstable character who cannot distinguish friend from foe. That is why his second presidency will also be unsuccessful.
I didn't see anything about Russia in Rubio's speech, but I did see an explicit request from Europe to form an alliance against China's influence. And it was noteworthy that repeatedly said "Communism and freedom", and only referenced democracy in a disdainful way. Rubio also positioned the US as being in the driver's seat with Europe just an aging parent as passenger: "America is charting the path" and "we are prepared... to do this alone." Also, much of Rubio's speech was about reinvigorating empire building, and that includes off-planet...
If politics emerged as a consequence of Christian civilization, then it did not exist before Christian civilization arose. Is this what you are saying? If so, then may I ask what was it called prior to that when tyrants, sycophants, and would-be rulers jockeyed for positions of power?
Politics is the practice of manipulating others to get what you want at their expense. It has been present from the beginning, regardless of its name.
Multipolar framing often gets presented as a path toward sovereignty and civilizational autonomy.
But historically, increased geopolitical fragmentation has also expanded internal security states as rival blocs harden domestic control in anticipation of external competition.
Power diffusion internationally doesn’t automatically translate into liberty domestically.
The paths of Russian civilization and Western civilization could meet again if they recognise human dignity as the most important christian value that in no case can be subject to political power. Politics emerged as a consequence of christian civilization, to serve personal liberty to follow the truth and the common good.
Rubio’s speech was a strategic retreat tantamount to the “standing down” of ICE and Border agents in US cities. In every on the rise authoritarian regime there is a Marco Rubio to normalize, legitimize, obfuscate true goals. Don’t be fooled. Sen. John Kelly hasn’t been. Rubio or Kelly. Which do you trust?
To offer my two cents, I largely agree with the author and article about the shifts that have occurred, save one respect: it seems to me, on this side of the Atlantic, that the Trump administration and Russia had reached, across all the summits and visits, at least the outline of a deal that was acceptable to both of them.
But not however acceptable to Europe, and it seems that it was decided to abandon the deal rather than abandon Europe. Now it all seems up in the air to me what will happen. I would guess that it's up to Europe; that the United States is not going to put altogether much more effort into the war, just maintaining a sort of status quo level of assistance, waiting to see what Europe will do, while focusing mostly on our own hemisphere, thus making two things true at once: all the old Atlanticist structures remain while the United States does still put the majority of its attention on its own hemisphere
I believe that it is extremely tacky for a Commenter to post links to his own work on another person's site. However, I want to do that here. This is a look into the mind of Marco Rubio and those like him (of which there are a great many in the United States).
So, asking in advance for your indulgence, and apologizing for my tackiness, here it is:

Rubio was just setting a trap for Russian and European too.
The Anchorage meeting was just a trick to lure Russia like Minsk 1 and 2.
When you will understand that Trump and Netanjahu are just waving a net around Russia and the BRICS Countries?
Your adversaries have not got any limit, they are without any principles.
Read again the Epstein's files and understand that their God is not the same as your.
