The problem with the West is they don't know the difference between nice and weak

This part made me laugh so hard 😂 :

“Trump is the embodiment of this “Wild West,” with all its repulsive and, for some, charming traits. If Europe today is an old, senile “nursing home,” reminiscent of Thomas Mann’s The Magic Mountain, where degenerates live out their days at the expense of migrant labor, then Trump is a young, aggressive, predatory force. His shift to an active foreign policy is entirely rational.”

I agree with the five poles. Makes sense.

It’s a good time for Russia to take more in Ukraine and push for them to possibly even have to compromise. NATO falling apart seems to be a good possibility, much better position for peace there than five years ago.

Israel wants to get out from under the iron dome. This is obvious. They want to get out from the aid compact with the US which requires greater buffer zones to not need extreme costs to uphold the dome and constant infrastructure rebuilding. They realize that it’s giving them a bad name in the west to get the aid and they want out of the dynamic where they have to use American contractors etc. In this case, it’s actually strategy disguised as eschatological justification. In many ways this could decouple them from the US in a favorable way long term but yes it requires more land inherently. I get why many would oppose that, but I also get from their perspective why they want it.

Trump has to be reckless and risk taking. If he doesn’t go far, the pile of globalists will hold the US again and snuff us out. It’s do or die and I hope he actually goes far enough. It’s worth the risk because the alternative is all of us being hunted down like dogs the next election cycle. It’s a gamble with big risks and big possible gains, very Wild West American in spirit and we are who we are. There is no other option, pushing peace will not change the deep state stranglehold that is not gone and far more insidious than most think. They almost killed him, it’s high stakes inherently. It’s not perfect, but it’s the only possible shot.

I don’t get why no one has taken out Zelensky. I get that he is predictable but I’m sure there have been possible replacements that don’t want to just expend more Ukrainians in the meat grinder. Trump can’t hand Ukraine over, but threatening nato and giving Europe other focuses is an indirect opportunity. He would be impeached and destroyed if he handed you Ukraine directly. His focus is China which happens to be a reasonable ally for you, but it would strengthen you to actually step back and let them focus on each other some. You are already in Ukraine that’s priority. Sometimes opposition in exclusion without direct conflict strengthens perceived enemies. Sometimes allies also are more enemy when the common threat is gone, and that should be considered.

Dugin’s categorization of the West into five fractured poles reveals the brutal conclusion of the "liberal partnership" era. The 2025 shift in German leadership, which initially promised a return to European sovereignty, has instead resulted in what Dugin describes as a "colossal humiliation." By depicting the EU as a "nursing home" capitulating to Trump’s Greenland ultimatum, the text exposes a systemic reality: vassalage is no longer a subtext; it is the policy. The "pizza delivery boy" analogy for European leaders highlights a world where the rules-based order has been replaced by a transaction-based order, where territory is purchased or seized like corporate real estate.

It only splits the neoliberals and tech bros … it doesn’t matter to white nationalists.

A great discussion. I have a slightly different take. While Trump seems like a madman, his actions mirror his approach to negotiations as a businessman - create chaos, see what you can or can’t get, settle for what you can. No one can read his mind - maybe he doesn’t even have a plan. But maybe he is much more canny than those who focus on his mannerisms realize. He saw the reality of the proxy war in Ukraine, OMG! - but he faced almost insurmountable obstacles in the US and Europe which will never admit what they did to provoke the SMO - and it looks like he may get it over with. He preempted a greater war between Iran and Israel by getting involved with a show bombing, and used his participation to either curb Israel or get it off the hook - and he has repeatedly humiliated Netanyahu who was stupid enough to think he could dictate to Trump. He said no publicly to Israel’s aim of annexing the West Bank. His Board of Peace may be the only way to eventually get peace in and rebuild Gaza (it sidelines Israel and we already see Nut-anyahu objecting to the pro-Palestine invitees) and perhaps give the Palestinians are real chance - please admit they have no chance at all otherwise. His removal of Maduro, which of course I opposed, may have been a brilliant way to maintain order and allow Maduro’s people to govern through Delcy (potentially through 2030) who knows she must work with the US while maintaining some semblance of sovereignty. Maduro is a martyr for the cause. Trump seems to actually understand what great leaders Xi and Putin are (what other American or European leaders do?) and seems to respect them. In short, internationally and domestically the US had become such an absolute basket case that throwing the Trump hand grenade into the US regime I think may be the only way to tear down the dangerously dysfunctional, incompetent, delusional US (and European) plutocracy and begin restructuring. The magnitude of change needed perhaps can only begin with the seeming destruction Trump is wreaking.
