I am still trying to understand why Russia still let the collective west to destroy it.

The SMO in frontline is doing just fine and RU will for sure achieve it's objective.

Why let them lauch drones towards Moscow, why let them accumulate weapons, why let them operate normaly?

i don't think russia lacks capacity. i also do think there is a reason for the constraint. However, it is coming out as a weakness.Russian population and infrastructure is suffering, it is not a good thing.

WOW! So powerful, so accurate, so timely!

Compared to Dugin and the scores of Russian intellectual journalists, academics, and politicians, I know nothing. What I sense, however, is an ever-growing global agreement with what he's saying, excluding our Western "experts," Johnson, Macgregor, Davis, Escobar, et al.

Increasingly, day after day, I find myself wondering wtf Putin is waiting for. As Dugin warns, Russia is quickly approaching that point of no return, with no visible, viable reactions.

Since 2022 I've personally hung this globe's existence onto Russia's success. If Russia goes down, so goes the world.

Right now I'm feeling much too uneasy.

My unsolicited advice to Pres Putin: shit, or get off the pot!

Dr. Dugan you wrote: "Our being in history, our sovereignty, our statehood, our independence, our freedom, and our civilization are once again in question. " As a citizen of the USA I can say the exact same thing. Why? Because our hard won democracy has been corrupted and turned into a sham, the sham of a US foreign policy of "full spectrum dominance" - of super imperialism. Why? Because we did not establish an economic democracy to undergird the political democracy. The power of profits from unearned income has arisen and destroyed our democracy.

It pains me greatly that we are destroying Russian and Iranian lives and so many more as well as our own. Yet I offer a non-violent intellectual political key to you. Your great Leo Tolstoy was a keen admirer of our American political economist Henry George and wrote letters to Tsar Nicholas urging him to implement the land value tax reform. If you were to promote the teachings of Henry George it would further our movement for this tax shift to commons rent, which in essence is a perennial wisdom teaching of economic justice and natural law. This would greatly help us to end the political corruption of the United States and to build a new form of democracy, an "earth rights democracy" based upon the fundamental right to the earth as a birthright of all human beings.

Please, help us non-violently slay the dragon that has destroyed the United States!!!

Well, as usual a Russian misinterprets the anti-imperialist Monroe Doctrine, but Dugin is a Russian so I will give him a break. He is certainly correct about what Russians must do after they remove Vladimir Putin from power. Has he forgotten that the treacherous Yeltsin handed the baton to neoliberal Putin who cares only for a relation with the West and grovels accordingly? And don’t think for a minute that the Europeans are the main transgressors. They will present their plan to Daddy, and he will jump right in to the fray. For years and years, Americans have lived with vicious anti-Russia propaganda right out in the open, in writing, on the internet, everywhere. And exactly who ignores the viciousness? The Russians. Wake up, get rid of the Zionist Putin who grants awards to the heretical Chabad Lubavitch Rabbi out of the Brooklyn, New York heretical political group. What are you people thinking in Russia? Remove Putin, and I bet you will defeat Ukraine handily as you should have done in 2022.

It is great Russia has thinkers like Dugin, prepared to state the unspoken, the thoughts that are there always, in the recesses of the mind, the thoughts that though unspoken, unstated carry the greatest weight, his Dugin’s descriptive of time and illustrating the harmful impact of time citing the 40 kopeks is an almost liturgical worship of the impact of time…

In this case Dugin demonstrates succinctly the impact of equivocating on time, doing so from a time perspective illustrating the egregious danger the nation faces from such bards who use time to sow defeat, whether intentional or not, an unwillingness to work in a timely, a precise manner given the issues confronted by the Russian state and it’s people’s will invariably lead to its very demise, its undoing.

Dugin equally eviscerates those who are not fully onboard with the urgency the nation, the state, its society demand in dealing with the issues of gratuitous violence espoused and enacted against Russia by the Western World.. unless and I agree fully, Russian decision makers wake up, get with the real issue the nation confronts, goes on the offensive, acts decisively to every now act of provocation then the longer the reticence in doing so, the greater the risk to the Russian state and its peoples.

I truly believe the Russian people are firmly behind their government in this SMO, it is the government that needs to now show they are firmly behind and for the people… they need to act decisively to go on the offense, no more niceties, no more allowing ships to be boarded the high seas, no more hands off supply lines, no more not striking Kiev including when allies visit, turn into a destination no Nazi sympathiser would want to travel unto… that safety is no longer the concern of Russia or its people’s, providing such safety as the Western Ghouls continue harming Russian civilians, maintaining a posture that has been in effect since pre 2014, indeed that dates back to the animus against Russian speaking Ukrainians in the Donbas to even pre 2008 and the first coup attempt…

Russia simply as opined the high ranking General quoted disrupt at every level and must do all it can to ensure any red line that the West breaches is dealt with severely that any officers not with the program are relieved and reassigned, that competent officers who are unafraid to make the calls and decisions required are given that opportunity… indifference with a play for time, having an adversary squander time is an age old Western tactic, Assad’s Syria and the procrastinating against Iran but just the latest iteration of this tactic…

By attacking Russia across many metrics, many locations, the West hopes to not only confuse but to severely weaken… Russia must meet this challenge head on… no more being polite, War is an ugly, dirty business, it is never ever been gleefully embraced or prosecuted by Russia, unlike the forces from the collective West who have made war a business… time Russia took the gloves off and went … well, to war… it’s long overdue…just saying

Every move NATO makes is towards damaging, and defeating Russia, it could not scream louder -

'Please slap us, Please beat us, Please bring your authority crashing down on us, for we are a sick, lawless entity that needs authority!

We are addicts to war, we are servants of the US Empire, please slap us hard that we may writhe in the pain we deserve, so as to regain our senses, so that we may turn to our master and say -'look! here we have done your bidding, but now our rumps are red-raw, our hands broken, our faces chastised, and can do no more!'.

For if you do not punish us, we will be bound to continue, we will hate you for your lack of authority, we will bite you, and keep biting you, until you die, or our teeth wear out!!

Beat us Please! Show us that you Love us with your righteous fists! Show us that you care, with the callouses of your open hand, the knuckles of the back of your hand, and your elbows, and knees, and hardened, battle-strong feet!!

Make us bleed, that the sickness within may flow out! For like a pack of wild dogs are we, and will surely taste your flesh, ravaging your body till you cannot even whimper! Put a collar and leash on us, that we may be wild no more, and respect your authoritative hand, and learn the laws of pain!

Then bring us to your hearth, and make us welcome, and feed us, and no more will we hunt you, but hunt for you, because you made the fire burn in our hinds, and bought us from our wildness into your love!

Dugan is not clear, to me anyway, on just how he proposes Russia should wake up from this "heroic sleep" and achieve "Victory". Patience is called for. Russia is facing very dangerous opposition, and the world trembles in a nuclear shadow cast by parties that are not totally rational.

Patience appears to be manifest as timidity. The time to win the war is past due.

David Ecklein's avatar

Realist- The time to win the war will come when NATO, EU, UK, etc decide it is no longer in their interest to continue supporting the Kyiv government. If you are watching the news, events are already starting in that direction. Patience is paying off.

It is important to recall that the US is also currently in a "fight for its life", a "philosophical" struggle against mysterious, hidden forces which we can see playing out in the media headlines. Race wars, gender wars, immigration wars, corrupt politicians, corrupt courts, stolen elections, and an entirely fake global pandemic. There is the same feeling of desperate procrastination, of "What is Trump waiting for?", When will arrests, trials, and convictions be made? We will not survive further delay!" And yet, as noted above, patience is paying off. The more we wait, the more corruption is exposed, whistleblowers are coming forward, and hard evidence of wrongdoing is emerging. And it's all connected, the corruption of Biden and Obama is deeply connected to the corruption of Ukraine. Our Director of National Intelligence (Tulsi Gabbard) is now opening an investigation into the many bio-labs in Ukraine and what is being hidden there. Won't it be interesting and pertinent to see what her team reveals? So in a sense, the Russian and American struggles are strangely united against the dark forces of the European oligarchs and their offshore fortunes, their rogue security state, and their silicon valley armies.

All the ingredients are there for more war, not less, and typically war is used precisely because the powers that be have lost control, and know they can get away with their crimes by sending their people to war, where all thought of prosecuting Epstein collaborators, or punishing the paedophilia, cannibalism, and evils of the elite are extinguished with the blood of the complainers.

What appears to be a fight for the US's life, looks real, but it is all a distraction for the people, to keep them looking in the wrong direction, and this has ever been the way - The breakdown of society is planned, for the purpose of control and deception - control the people with fear, and deceive them and the enemy as to the true intent.

The US has not wavered on inch from following the step-by-step policies laid out in the Brookings and Rand reports, all detail exactly the plan, which proxies to use, where to pivot, and who to blame, all to accomplish Global Domination.

The US has pivoted towards China, and the apparent rift between them and other NATO members is to cover the fact that the rest are proxies for the US, who are tasked with defeating Russia, while they try to defeat China.

Those documents are freely available, downloadable, and have been since creation. People interested in Geopolitics really should avail themselves of them, as they prove that what is going on in the World, are all according to those plans.

I agree that Putin seems to be playing the long game - having sprung NATO/Us's trap in Ukraine, Putin has masterfully back-fired the goals of it, onto the US proxies, and the slowness, to me appears to be to preserve Russian troops and hardware, whilst increasing the depletion of Ukraine/NATO's resources.

However, every day that goes by, the enemies of Russia get time to plot, plan, and build towards the war they have already stated that they want their citizens to fight and die in against Russia, and every day that goes by, sees even Russia's new weapons advantages eroded.

Russia needs to strike at the heart of her enemy whilst the enemy is weak, not wait for it to get strong, and develop hard, bony plate over it's tender parts, and I think now is the time, as the West will not back down from the goal of war with Russia.

Peace must be, in this case, hard-won, with a clear, authoritative, painful strike to the tenderest part of the enemy. It would be in fact, a much needed, loving strike, in order to heavily dissuade the West from further ideas of War against Russia, as that is the ONLY language they understand.

Even Europe's dependence on Russian oil, has not proven to be the sweetener through which closer ties, and peaceful relations could be fostered - Putin has tried over, and over again, to get peace through those means, and all that has done was give the West (of which I am an unwilling part) time to lie, and arm, and plan for War.

When corruption, and evil get too hot to handle within a state/s, the goal for that afflicted nation/s, is always war. Peace first, means all those who have committed their evil crimes within that entity, will likely have to pay for their crimes, as the anger of the people reaches fever-point, so war is a very convenient, and attractive option in their hands, to ensure that doesn't happen.

It is time for Russia to teach the West a lesson it will never forget. If done properly, it will extinguish the war-lust. If not, it will increase the War-lust, but if the enemy is not ready for war itself, then they will fail there too. Leaving it too long, and we are very close, if not already there, will ensure Russia's defeat, and a great many more deaths all around.

In the meantime, Russia is losing people. A quick, decisive win is preferable.

David Ecklein's avatar

A quick, decisive win is preferable. Of course this is always a truism. But it is not possible when NATO, EU, UK, etc are in actuality still in the fight. Up until recently, they have been willing to fight Russia to the last Ukrainian. But logistic backfire is catching up with them, and they are starting to reconsider. And incidentally, Ukraine is also losing people at a faster rate than Russia by most estimates - unmaintainable when considering the relative populations

David Ecklein's avatar

Realist- The link essentially faults Russia for not following up on a few repeated "red lines". Better ways exist beyond military hubris to respond. Consider that economic and political levers may be stronger than escalating military activity beyond current levels. Western Europe and UK are already in panic as they have miscalculated their costs and the advantages of good relations with Russia. I join many observers who feel Russia is winning this war without escalation. Just so I understand your position better, what would you say a "full effort to win the war" would entail? Be more explicit.
