Dear Sir, I challenge you to give exact quotes of the "red lines" Russia, or rather Putin have drawn, that were violated repeatedly or at all. Furthermore the concept of a war of attrition seems alien to you. - The Ukrainian losses are imho far north of 2 Million, Russia having suffered around 1/8th to 1/10 (still a lot) having a firm grip of the battlefield. Deciding which battle is being fought and which is being avoided. What, short of Nuclear Devices could the West deliver, that could turn the tide in Ukraine? In fact, Russia is on the technological and productional high ground. The entire "West" including the USA are outproduced (by far) when it comes to military production (and often civilian production). Do you know of any country except Russia having a complete autochtone produced civilan jet in its portfolio? - Neither do I. Real Hypersonics anyone? Orezhnik?

Strelkov? This moron couldn't find his own butt in a brightly lit room. Citing this degenerate cast an odd light on this piece. - You are obviously stuffed to the throat with the "West" rah-rah manœuvre warfare idiocy. A war is won, when the enemy is forced to follow our will. Not by taking the odd square kilomètre.

Yours Truly

Trump just cancelled military aid to Russia-bordering NATO countries and his tariffs and the offer buy American weapons look to me like he wants to avoid Europe building its own military-industrial complex (or at least ine large enough for war with Russia).

I think Trump realised he can't stop the crazy Euros from going to war with Russia, so he makes the best out of it.

There were also US military observers at the Zapad 2025 exercise. America is out of this war, thanks to internal struggles in the US it just takes a while to take full effect.
