Call me a cynic, a skeptic but when was life on this planet other than Power, Force, Corrupt: perhaps the WEF is our savior at least we’d avoid sovereign conflict. Trump’s moves are attempts to preserve perceived world dominance in the face of active and effective alternatives; alternatives that are even more obtuse than our own.

I think you rightly identify the two most important overarching themes of our present moment. 2026 has seen the post-WW2 architecture of international law struck a mortal blow, first with the US attack on Venezuela, and now with USrael's attack on Iran. The effects of this will reverberate across the world over in the coming years, until the next global great war produces a winner.
The second theme, much less appreciated but of even greater significance, is the opening which is being created for the emergence of new leadership with Moral standing. Until today, the Western hegemonic globalist architecture of politics has stifled and limited the opportunities for leaders not aligned with its values and vision (an example of this is the wef young global leaders assembly line like production), both in the West and across the South and rest. BRICS was clearly a successful attempt to create space for countries and leaders wanting to escape the Hegemonic oppression of the West, not so differently from the failed attempt at creating the non-aligned movement during the cold war.
Moving forward, leaders with clear moral and ethical standing within their corresponding nations, who demonstrate alignment between ideology and lived experience, will emerge more easily as local populations seek captains able to navigate the brewing global storm.
Obviously Merz Is not among these, but then neither are any of the current leaders in Europe, with the exception of Orban and Putin.
Or instead of some lofty idealized structure of morality/ethics/law gaining world wide acceptance? Instead, the world degenerates into a multi faction gang fight scrabbling for control of the Earth's non renewable resources at any costs. Tribal warfare writ large, with chemical, biological and nuclear weapons and only a bandit faction's successes defining their stature.
