Dear Dr. Dugin, thank you for your insightful article. Since Western Civilzation has mostly turned away from God, we are closer to end of our culture.

Cultures rise on one belief system and collapse on another.

In Western Civilization, we had the Age of Faith (There is an Objective Reality & Truth and they are revealed in the Bible & Works of Creation); the Enlightenment (There is an Objective Reality & Truth and we discover it by use of Reason); the Age of Romanticism (“Truth” is found in your emotions & feelings); and now, Pragmatism & Existentialism (There is no Objective Reality; “Truth” is a concept which has no meaning; there are no fixed principles, there is only “opinion” and one man’s “opinion” is as good as another’s).

Existentialism rejects an objective basis for life in favor of a subjective basis: Humans are merely biological organisms living meaningless lives, making “choices” on the basis of no criteria whatsoever other than their own likes or dislikes. Since there is no basis for any external Principles or Standards to which we must conform, people are free to do whatever they want. That is literally true today in America. Immigrants & minority populations can commit horrendous crimes on a repeated basis and suffer no consequences.

The belief systems of Americans went through these stages. Americans of today have no understanding of the concept of Objective Truth. They feel fully justified in saying or doing whatever they need to say or do to get the result they want. They have no understanding that they must adhere to objective standards or Principles. Trump has never read the US Constitution! Why should he? It's irrelevant to him - he believes he can do whatever he wants.

And Americans are unable to think about how they think and why they believe what they believe - why should they? They do - or don't do - whatever they feel like doing - or not doing.

None of these poisonous beliefs were accepted after careful consideration. Instead, Americans were conditioned - brainwashed - into believing this poison. It was instilled into them in the public schools, on the television, movies, pop culture, false preachers, etc.

2 Chronicles 7:14 is out of our reach because Americans are incapable of understanding that the sin of which they must repent and turn away from is the Pragmatist & Existentialist mindset. Besides, they WANT a belief system which allows them to do whatever they want to do.
