It's in the interests of both the United States & Russia (and all of mankind) to end that evil war in Ukraine NOW. Trump is a loose cannon, but I hope he is reasonable when he meets with Putin and has the fortitude to stand up to the evil American factions and European political organizations and thus brush off the criticism they will pour on him if Putin & Trump resolve this. I am deeply ashamed that the US has been funding this evil War. Western politicians don't deal with Reality - they kept insisting that Ukraine was winning! Meanwhile, where did all the money which the US sent to Ukraine go?????
The best outcome of Friday's bilateral meeting would be the initiation of a joint building project, a tunnel/bridge across the Bering Strait, connecting the Eurasian and American Continents/Civilizations, in effect connecting the whole world as One. If this happens, then Presidents Putin and Trump will be respected and remembered as the greatest Peacemakers in human history.
