Core 5 (USA, Russia, China, India, Japan) will not work IMO. The USA has proven to be not reliable or credible; that´s why BRICS was formed, to have a human and sane alternative to corrupt empire decay.
I would be very surprised if any of the 4 other countries fell for this last gasp of the empire to keep afloat.
Proposing such a structure as C5 — like an economic community as a naive option against a military alliance like NATO — is so ridiculous! The US and globalists will attempt to use it not as a union but as a race track to later ‘dismantle from within.’ The goal is to financialize China and Russia and shift the center of what appears to be multipolar — yet remains unipolar — right back to Washington, DC… : )
It should not be any surprise why Western Europe fear Russia. A strong alliance between the US and Russia would dramatically change the world, with great benefits to the US, Russia and most Far Eastern countries - with emphasis on China, India, the Koreas and Japan. This is the nightmare scenario that the European globalists fear and why they and their US counterparts (the Neocons) have been fear mongering about Russia. Ukraine has always been about destabilizing and / or breaking up Russia and keeping the US and Russia at odds. Americans need to educate themselves regarding the long standing support Russia has given the US (e.g. Russia’s navel support during America’s Revolutionary War) and their sale of Alaska to the US with hopes it would be the bridge to greater trade relations. Moreover, Americans need to not be distracted by the Communist period in Russias past - I believe Russia has moved on from that error. We are both strongly Christian nations and have more in common than not.
Dr. Dugan, likewise thank you for your insights. When, I read about the C5 yesterday, it caused me to sit up straight in my chair. As an American, my desire is for the US to move to a multipolar power sharing with the other major world powers. This is the only rational approach - principally Russia and China. Resisting will result only in the eventual US collapse similar to the fate of most prior reserve currency / military power empires throughout history. More importantly, this collaboration could open up the opportunity to achieve the promise of an expanded Heartland (I.e. Mackinder doctrine) geopolitical strategy. If these C5 countries could collaborate on the construction of a trans-Bering Strait rail tunnel, it would dramatically change global trade dynamics as well as navel military strategy. A Blue Ocean Navy strategy is extremely wasteful and a shift away would offer certain benefits. Hopefully the C5 can be realized with the US walking away from NATO. This is Trumps true chance to be written favorably into the world history books. Trump, Putin and Xi all for that matter. With best regards.
Im thinking that the Globalists could and would throw Trump to the soil of Presidental graveyards if there project is challanged as is now happening , either mid terms or another JFK style silence. Either way its going to get very nasty for all concerned.

For now, America still needs to be contained. And it won't be a civilization until it deanglicizes more completely.
Interesting ... great power politics at work; a new 'Concert of ... Great Powers.'

Dr. Dugin, thank you for your insightful article. Also, Dr. Korybko's well-written article is worth analyzing: https://korybko.substack.com/p/the-c5-would-be-a-pragmatic-format
Question for you, if Texas secedes from the U.S. would it be allowed to join BRICS ? We'll take a shot at it in the movie.
